Finals of our first competition were played in high spirit with great play from all teams. All players are to be congragulated for their contribution to the game and our club. It is great to see the improvement all our new players have demonstrated from a skills point of view and also, in the understanding of how the game is played.

In the first final, Fighting Ibis won 3rd spot over Patriots with a convincing win. Eventhough Patriots defended well Fighting Ibis were too strong on the night.

The second final for top spot was a great game, fast and entertaining. Diamond Pythons took the lead twice but Scorpions fighted back and equalised. With five minutes to go in the last period, Pythons took the lead once more but this time, they defended their advantage to become the champions of our first competition.
